Tuesday, November 3, 2015 7:30pm
It’s human nature to lie. We all do it! From scandalous headlines to little white lies, (Dis)Honesty – The Truth About Lies explores the complex impact dishonesty has on our personal lives and on society. The film interweaves experiments from celebrated behavioral scientist Dan Ariely and his colleagues together with personal stories of individuals whose lives unraveled as a result of their lies. What’s revealed is a fascinating look at the forces behind our collective (mis)behavior and the many truths behind lies.
Directed by Yael Melamede, (Dis)Honesty enjoyed its world and international premieres at the Full Frame Film Festival and Hot Docs in 2015.
